BALLISTIC VEST ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

 

​The Wisconsin State Patrol provides ballistic vests for State Troopers and Inspectors throughout their employment at the basic threat level.  Troopers and Inspectors that wish to purchase a higher level protection, including trauma plates and exterior vest carriers, are required to pay for these upgrades out of their own pocket.  The ballistic vest reimbursement program assists officers in the purchase of upgrades to provide them the protection they desire to do the job.
