Dear State Troopers, Inspectors, and Supervisors,
In 2024, New Glarus Brewery's "Only in Wisconsin Giving" Charity Program generously contributed to the Wisconsin Troopers Association (WTA) to support troopers and inspectors in upgrading their ballistic vests. As a result, every dollar of the donation was distributed to members for vest upgrades, significantly enhancing officer safety. The success of this initiative led New Glarus Brewery to not only renew its partnership with WTA in 2025 but also increase its donation, ensuring that all eligible participants can benefit from this crucial program.
This ongoing support allows WTA members to continue receiving an increased reimbursement of $400 toward ballistic vests.
This partnership is made possible through the dedication of Inspector Aaron Peterson, our union treasurer, whose collaboration with the charitable arm of New Glarus Brewery’s Only In Wisconsin Giving program has been instrumental. His leadership has been pivotal in strengthening this partnership, ensuring continued support that directly benefits all troopers and inspectors.
New Glarus Brewery has long demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and public safety. As a Wisconsin-based company, their investment in law enforcement underscores their dedication to the well-being of those who serve.
