Wisconsin Trooper Sponsored- Special Olympics
Law Enforcement Torch Run & World's Largest Truck Convoy

One of the Troopers' favorite charity events is the Special Olympics- Law Enforcement Torch Run.  It does not take long to realize that this event is about the Special Olympian's abilities not disabilities.

You all are invited to join us for the 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on June 9th.  Help the over 10,000 Wisconsin athletes celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Torch Run here in Wisconsin.  You may participate for just a couple of hours or all day.  The Torch Run is not just running, we have walkers and bicyclists too.  The opening ceremonies are up In Steven's Point that evening.  If you are interested in participating let me know.  Family & friends are welcome as well.

If you would like to buy a t-shirt they are $12 (see attachment for the design).  For the 25th anniversary there are also baseball caps with the same design for $15 or you can buy both for $25.  Again if you are interested in buying shirts/hats let me know.  If you wish to make a donation those are always welcome too.  All checks can be made out to Special Olympics.

Thank you for your time and support of Wisconsin Special Olympics.  Please contact Trooper Kim Hurley for more information at kimbskiin@tds.net.
